Music Monday: Modern Day Cure - Confident (single)

For the husband and wife duo that is Modern Day Cure, Aaron and Tamar Chipp are living out the words they are singing. The couple took a step of faith in relocating to Nashville this past March after 10 years of being on staff at their home church in Michigan. Their brand new single "Confident," speaks of the journey Aaron and Tamar are on and points clearly to the God who is faithful over every step.
Cowritten with Matt Hein (I Am They) and produced by Jay Speight (Bottle Rockit Productions), the single has every marking of a song you could hear on radio or during Sunday morning worship. The powerful lyrics draw the listener right in to join the declarative chorus. Between Aaron’s pulsating drum grooves and Tamar’s strong vocals, I find myself wanting to shout this one from the rooftops!

It’s great to hear a story like the Chipp’s and see it unfolding in their music. Their journey serves as a testimony as they proclaim the goodness of the Lord; having experienced it firsthand.
